Responsibilities

  • Creating, enhancing, managing, disseminating, and implementing a wide array of internal and external funding resources across the public and private sectors.
  • Oversight and enhancements to team's operating procedures, established databases, resources, tools, and other project implementations while increasing the automation and swift delivery of resources to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitoring and updating internal/external project requests, databases and related project and performance dashboards.
  • Researching and qualifying grant opportunities and applications for education partners.
  • Supporting the development of funding collateral including guides, toolkits, presentations and other resources.

Qualifications

  • Two-year college, technical degree or equivalent from accredited university.
  • Bachelor's degree in education, marketing, business, finance or relevant field and 8+ years of experience in K-12 education market strongly preferred.
  • Experience in grants (public or private sector), federal administration, purchasing, procurement, government affairs, legislation, policy or other related position or experience strongly desired.

Required Skills

  • Keen attention to detail and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional technical writing, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven with a high level of initiative, independence and embodies a sense of urgency.
  • High adaptability and flexibility, including the ability to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity, projects and overall change.
  • Expertise in business software applications and design (such as Microsoft Office applications, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, PowerBI, Smartsheet, CRM systems, etc.) is highly desired.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in grants management and funding strategies.
  • Familiarity with educational policies and funding mechanisms.
