Experience: 0-3 years in cost analysis, manufacturing engineering, procurement, or a similar role (internships/co-op experience considered).(Entry level to Early Career)

Academic Requirement: Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.

Skills:

• Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
• Familiarity with cost estimation tools

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Fixture and Equipment Cost Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating, tracking, and reporting the costs associated with fixtures and production equipment. You will support cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and finance to ensure cost transparency, accurate budgeting, and cost optimization across all new and ongoing programs.

Job Roles & Responsibilities:

• Cost Analysis & Estimation:

Analyze the cost structure for fixtures, jigs and production equipment.

Prepare cost breakdowns and variance reports to highlight savings opportunities.

• Data Management & Reporting:

Collect and maintain cost data from suppliers, purchase orders, and engineering teams.

Prepare regular cost summaries and present findings to management.

• Collaboration & Support:

Work with design, engineering, and procurement teams to validate equipment specifications and budgets.

Support supplier negotiations with data-driven cost insights.

Monitor cost implications of design changes and process improvements.

• Continuous Improvement:

Identify areas for cost reduction and process efficiency.

Assist in implementing best practices in cost tracking and analysis.
