The opportunity: Hitachi Energy is seeking a Global Product Group Analyst is responsible for analyzing market trends, product performance, and competitive landscape to support the strategic decision-making process within the product group. This role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure the successful implementation of product strategies. How you'll make an impact: Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and threats. Product Performance: Monitor and analyze the performance of products within the group, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. Competitive Intelligence: Gather and analyze data on competitors to inform strategic decisions. Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key findings and strategic recommendations. Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to align product strategies with market needs. Data Management: Maintain and update databases related to market and product information. Strategic Planning: Assist in the development and execution of strategic plans for the product group Safety and integrity: Living Hitachi Energy s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business. Your Background: Bachelor s degree in business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field. Min 6- 10 yrs previous experience in market research, data analysis, or a similar role is preferred. Strong ability to analyze data and market trends. Proficiency in conducting market and competitive research. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting findings. Familiarity with data analysis tools and software. High level of accuracy in data collection and analysis. Ability to think strategically and provide actionable insights. Proficiency in both spoken written English language is required.
