Role & responsibilities Business Development & Sales Drive NPS (National Pension System) product sales through the branch and associated teams. Develop and execute strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Identify and develop new Nodal Officers, POPs, or government tie-ups to expand business outreach. Team Management Lead and manage a team of NPS Sales Officers/Relationship Managers. Set clear targets, provide training, and ensure performance monitoring. Motivate the team to deliver consistent business volumes. Branch Operations & Compliance Oversee smooth day-to-day functioning of the branch related to NPS channel activities. Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines set by PFRDA and internal company policies. Maintain accurate documentation and audit-readiness of all NPS-related transactions. Stakeholder Management Liaise with government departments, nodal officers, and senior officials to facilitate onboarding and servicing. Build and maintain strong relationships with local government offices and existing customers. Customer Service & Retention Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction in the NPS journey from onboarding to servicing. Resolve escalations and support NPS subscribers with documentation, fund transfers, etc. Reporting & Analysis Maintain and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales & activity MIS to regional or zonal managers. Analyze branch and team performance, identifying gaps and taking corrective measures. Market Intelligence Stay updated on changes in NPS policies, government notifications, and competitor offerings. Provide timely feedback to the product and strategy team for improvement.
