Governance & Controls Leader

Role Overview: As a Governance & Controls Leader at Johnson Controls, you will be a key player in ensuring that internal controls are effectively designed and implemented at the Company's COEs. You will collaborate with stakeholders to oversee the control environment for business center processes, enhance consistency in control monitoring programs, and address deficiencies promptly. Key Responsibilities: - Set up and review control environments - Oversee continuous control monitoring and self-certification workstreams - Test the effectiveness of controls - Review audit findings and collaborate with process owners - Partner with the global Governance & Controls team to address risks - Conduct training on controls - Support audits and maintain relationships with stakeholders - Update and harmonize the Company's common control matrix - Identify process efficiency enhancements - Issue governance-related metrics and reports - Support ledger transitions - Provide ad-hoc project support - Lead a team focused on the control environment within the FCOE Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field - 5+ years of experience in internal controls, audit, or related roles - Strong understanding of governance standards and compliance - Experience in leading teams and driving process improvements - Excellent communication and collaboration skills (Note: No additional details of the company were included in the job description),
