Google Maps Growth Specialist

We are looking for a results-driven Google Maps Growth Specialist to improve local visibility, engagement, and lead generation for businesses on Google Maps. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience optimizing Google Business Profiles and implementing growth strategies aligned with local SEO best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to improve rankings and visibility on Google Maps
• Optimize Google Business Profiles for accuracy, relevance, and performance
• Conduct keyword research for local and map-based searches
• Manage and optimize GMB posts, images, services, and business information
• Monitor, respond to, and manage customer reviews and Q&A
• Track performance metrics such as impressions, clicks, calls, and direction requests
• Identify and resolve listing issues including suspensions, duplicates, and verification problems
• Analyze competitors and implement local growth strategies
• Stay updated on Google Maps and Google Business Profile algorithm changes

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience in Google Maps optimization or local SEO
• Strong understanding of Google Business Profile and local ranking factors
• Experience improving Maps rankings and local visibility
• Analytical mindset with experience interpreting performance data
• Strong attention to detail and execution skills
• Good communication and documentation abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with digital marketing or SEO agencies
• Knowledge of citation building and local SEO tools
• Experience managing multi-location businesses
