Google Ads Specialist (Freelancer)

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and manage Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, YouTube, PMax).
• Perform keyword research, competitor analysis, and audience segmentation.
• Create compelling ad copy, extensions, and visual assets where needed.
• Track, measure, and optimize campaigns for CPC, CPA, ROAS, and conversions.
• Build and refine landing pages (suggest improvements for CRO).
• Install and manage conversion tracking (Google Tag Manager, GA4).
• Provide weekly performance reports with insights + actionable recommendations.
• Manage monthly budgets and ensure efficient spending.
• Stay updated with Google Ads best practices, trends, and algorithm changes.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–5+ years of hands-on Google Ads experience.
• Strong understanding of bidding strategies, audience targeting, and conversion optimization.
• Proven track record of delivering qualified leads and strong ROAS.
• Experience with GA4, Google Tag Manager, and Data Studio.
• Ability to interpret analytics and convert data into strategy.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Experience working with service-based or B2B clients is a plus.
• Bonus: Experience with remarketing, funnel building, and automation workflows.
