Godown Supervisor( Furniture)

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily godown operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of materials and finished goods.
• Maintain proper records of stock – raw materials, hardware, and finished furniture items.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the production and purchase departments for material requirements.
• Ensure safe handling, stacking, and storage of wooden and furniture materials.
• Prepare goods dispatch notes, challans, and maintain delivery schedules.
• Check quality and quantity of materials received and dispatched.
• Supervise loading/unloading activities and manage warehouse staff/labourers.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and orderliness in the godown area.
• Conduct regular stock verification and physical inventory audits.
• Coordinate with logistics for timely delivery of products to clients or dealers.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Graduate or Diploma (preferably in Supply Chain / Warehouse Management).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse/godown supervision, preferably in furniture or manufacturing sector.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and dispatch procedures.
• Good leadership and team-handling skills.
• Basic computer knowledge (Excel, inventory software).
• Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
