Godown Incharge (Varanasi)

As a Godown Incharge, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a warehouse to ensure efficient inventory management, shipping and receiving, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Additionally, you will manage a team of warehouse staff, ensuring they are well-trained, motivated, and performing their duties effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies. - Shipping and Receiving: Oversee the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate shipping and receiving processes. - Staff Management: Hire, train, and supervise warehouse staff, provide feedback and coaching, and ensure they meet performance standards. - Safety: Implement and enforce safety protocols, conduct safety inspections, and ensure a safe working environment for all employees. - Efficiency and Productivity: Optimize warehouse layout and processes, identify and implement process improvements, and maximize efficiency. - Communication and Collaboration: Communicate with other departments, customers, and suppliers, and coordinate activities to ensure seamless operations. - Data Analysis: Analyze warehouse performance metrics, identify trends, and use data to drive process improvements. - Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. - Reporting: Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and track key performance indicators (KPIs). Qualifications Required: - Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role. - Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management. - Excellent leadership and organizational skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively. - Good communication and interpersonal abilities. - Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
