Location - OMR, Chennai We're looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our dynamic and ambitious engineering team, helping scale Zocket to the next level while maintaining product excellence and innovation. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership & Development Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, growth, and collaboration. Hire and onboard top engineering talent to expand the team. Technical Leadership Drive the design and development of scalable, robust, and efficient systems, with a focus on performance and reliability. Provide technical guidance and hands-on support for complex challenges, ensuring high-quality deliverables. Product Collaboration Work closely with the co-founders, product managers, and designers to align engineering efforts with the product roadmap. Collaborate with stakeholders to define new features, enhance existing functionalities, and prioritize technical debt reduction. Process Optimization Establish and refine best practices for development, testing, and deployment. Advocate for automation and efficiency to minimize bugs and increase release cadence. Technology Ownership Oversee key platform features like ad creative generation, cost breakdowns, and international ad support. Drive innovation with cutting-edge technologies like LLMs, SDXL, ControlNet, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). Implement scalable architectures that cater to the growing customer base and their diverse needs. Required Qualifications: Proven experience in managing and scaling engineering teams (preferably in a SaaS environment). Strong expertise in backend technologies (e.g., Golang , REST APIs, SQL optimization, Gin framework). Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and tools like Glue, CloudWatch, and vector databases. Deep understanding of software development best practices, including logging, unit testing, and CI/CD. A track record of building AI-driven or ad-tech platforms is a strong plus. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in startups or fast-paced environments. Familiarity with generative AI technologies and their applications in ad creatives and campaign optimization.
