About the Role

Golang Backend Engineers (SDE II)

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable backend services using
Golang
Build high-performance REST APIs and microservices
Work on distributed systems, caching, queues, and real-time data flows
Ensure high standards of code quality, testing, and reliability
Collaborate closely with product, design, and DevOps teams
Drive ownership across the full development lifecycle

Must-Have Skills

3–5 years
of hands-on experience with Golang
Strong understanding of backend architecture & microservices
Strong DSA
skills (tested in interviews)
Experience with
Redis, Memcache, MySQL, Kafka
Understanding of distributed systems & high-throughput platforms
Strong communication, problem-solving, and ownership mindset
Java background acceptable if transitioned into Go
Bonus:
Experience switching from Java to Go (migration, adaptation, or rewrite projects)

Ideal Background

Experience in product-based, high-scale, or real-time platforms
Exposure to event-driven architecture and cloud (AWS/GCP)
