Join a team recognized for leadership, innovation and diversity OVERVIEW The GMS Specialist, Global Mobility Services role will be focused on supporting the GMS regional leader implement technical support on tax, legal, payroll and immigration related matters for international employees working in the region and outbound from the region. ROLE DESCRIPTION Support the implementation of the Project Assignment Mobility (PAM) Strategy in the region and client billable projects requirements in the Region by leveraging service partners to determine most advantageous tax, immigration and social insurance positions depending on the project and the client to minimize costs and ensure full compliance. Align, standardize and coordinate Project Mobility activities by providing technical mobility support and advice, ensuring close collaboration with other regions and functions such as corporate tax, legal, payroll etc. Leverage GMS strategies and policies to meet internal and external clients needs while ensuring legal and tax compliance. Ensure project closes correctly with final review of tax filings and immigration cessation. Ensure correct calculation and allocation of allowances to employees, partner with other functions and vendors to find the most efficient way for payment Ensure strong relationships with legal, finance, corporate tax and other key stakeholders and leverage from this to ensure compliance. Support traditional mobility requirements as needed. GMS responsibilities: Manage General mobility compliances for Honeywell employees in and out of the region Authorize vendor services like immigration (self, dependent, extension, exit formalities), tax, shadow payroll, social security, PWN and CoC Work closely with GMS regional leader on Work closely with cross functional team and other regional counterparts to ensure PAM compliances Keeping updated with any changes in tax regulations and incorporating the same to Honeywell processes Perform periodic audits to avoid non-compliance and make corrective measures if required Look at an opportunity to reduce vendor costs Ensure that the global and regional strategic priorities are met Actively participate in global Digital transformations projects Own Data Management for applications processed though Vendor Report and escalate any issues/non-compliance risks to the Global Immigration Leader and India Immigration Leader Work on continuous process improvements and develop new ideas and concepts to enable growth and ensure compliance Technical Skills: Ability to think strategically and operationally to support global GMS strategy Must have significant technical expertise in international mobility in order to support the delivery implementation of Mobility strategy Must have strong consultative and problem-solving skills Must be able to balance short term and long term objectives. Must be able to balance individual client and global GMS objectives. Experience Requirements: Minimum 2 years of Global Mobility Experience or related HR / HRS functions Bachelor s Degree or Equivalent. English Fluency.
