GM- QUALITY(WOVEN)

As the General Manager Quality (Woven) at a globally respected garment manufacturing powerhouse in Dhaka, Bangladesh, you will play a pivotal role in leading quality excellence within woven garment manufacturing operations. Your responsibilities will include spearheading the quality management function, ensuring adherence to global buyer standards, implementing robust quality systems, analyzing root causes of quality deviations, and training and developing the quality team. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and oversee the entire quality control and assurance function for woven garments. - Ensure 100% adherence to global buyer standards, quality manuals, and SOPs. - Implement robust quality systems and defect prevention strategies. - Analyze root causes of quality deviations and implement preventive measures. - Train, coach, and develop the quality team to uphold high-performance standards. - Liaise with production, merchandising, and technical teams for smooth execution. - Engage in regular buyer audits and ensure high AQL pass rates across styles. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Textile Technology, Garment Manufacturing, or a relevant discipline, along with 10+ years of quality experience in woven apparel, particularly with a strong background in denim or woven garments (minimum 75%). Additionally, you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior managerial or GM-level quality leadership role. In-depth knowledge of woven garment construction, finishing, and global quality benchmarks is essential, along with excellent leadership, people management, and problem-solving capabilities. Strong communication and buyer handling experience are also required.
