GM-OPERATIONS-FSS

As the General Manager of Operations at Indiana Group, you will be responsible for ensuring that all plant activities are aligned to achieve the monthly production and invoicing targets. Your key focus will be on continuous improvements of systems and standards, implementing best processes, and developing new techniques to achieve On Time In Full (OTIF) delivery with superior quality and within budgeted cost. You will need to enhance manpower and machine productivity, identify cost reduction strategies, and maintain cost control standards to minimize wastages and reduce costs effectively. Your role will also involve monitoring inventory levels to ensure effective cycle times, achieving 100% safety regulations to prevent fatal or reportable accidents, and fostering a positive and ethical work environment. It will be essential to attract, retain, and motivate top-quality employees at all levels by enhancing employee engagement and building a high-performance team. To excel in this position, you should have at least 20 years of experience in the Fabricated Steel Structure industry and hold an engineering degree, preferably complemented by an MBA in Marketing. You must possess a thorough understanding of cost estimation for products, along with basic knowledge of galvanizing and welding processes, and a keen awareness of market trends. Your professional attributes should include strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective time management, and good communication abilities.
