Job Description

As Global Upstream Planner you will be responsible for supporting global & critical EE suppliers. For the suppliers under your scope, you will be: Key mission 1. Accountable to provide and publish forecast & POs for manufacturers (time horizon 3 to 18 months) 2. Accountable to work with the manufacturer to secure the capacity and allocation, detecting the main gap and formalizing actions to close the gaps (double source, strategic stock for instance) This will have a positive impact in supply chain resilience. 3. Accountable with the SIOP team for component allocation in case of missing capacity. 4. Accountable for continuous improvement and digitization of upstream supply chain. 5. Work with SIOP team to align VF based on CSF Responsibilities 1. Accountable to provide and publish forecast for list of suppliers (time horizon 3 to 18 months). a. Full demand, aligned with BU/LoB and NPI/transfer plans b. Cycle-to-cycle comparison 2. Ensure supplier capacity & commitment a. Detect main gap b. Get formal commitment from supplier (PO & forecast acknowledgement) c. Manage and escalate main capacity gap and act on demand shaping if needed d. Provide net demand file in case of capacity gap (and allocation by plant & region) e. Analyze supply & demand. Understand excess and shortage situation. Work with Procurement on escalating excess and shortage POs. f. Control execution of quota and detect main business risk (to be escalated to Procurement) g. Ensure long term PO placed according to validated forecasts h. Formalize action to cover capacity risk as well as business risk (dual sourcing, stock etc.) i. Get full visibility on critical inventory & capacity (up to T2 and T3), if any critical raw materials. j. Work with GSC Hub and plants to ensure Strategic Safety Stock (SSS) targets are met 3. Improve supply chain resilience a. Strategic stock, double sourcing process (double sourcing SSL) 4. Continuous improvement & digitization a. Lead time, MOQ & incoterm, Optiflow b. Formalize & secure compliance of LTC (Logistics Terms & Conditions c. Connect and engage supplier on SupplyOn d. Monitor supplier performance on delivery, cash, premiums (expedites) 5. Long Term Supply Agreements (LTSA) a. Together with Procurement manage LTSA with suppliers by tracking progress and commitments.
