Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Accountant with 5-11 years of experience to join our team in the Recruitment industry. The ideal candidate will have expertise in UK Tax Preparation, including Corporation Tax, Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax, VAT, and Annual Accounts.

Roles and Responsibility

Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
Manage and maintain accurate financial records and accounts.
Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, including VAT and other taxes.
Analyze financial data and provide insights to management.
Develop and implement financial models and forecasts.
Collaborate with auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.
Provide client communications via email only.
Utilize software such as TaxCalc, Moneysoft, Quickbooks, and Xero.

Job Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or taxation, preferably in a UK-facing accountancy practice.
Fully ACCA Qualified is preferred, but depth of experience in practice can mitigate this requirement.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and tax laws.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
Experience working with CIS, Landlords, Pensioners, and other common client categories.
A B.Com degree is required.
