Global Sourcing Manager R&D

You will be responsible for the R&D category and leading the delivery of individual projects as part of the Annual Category Plan. Your focus will be on project delivery, involving activities such as requirements gathering, market analysis, qualifying and selecting suppliers with relevant Business Partners and stakeholders. Additionally, you will handle non-sourcing projects like demand management and process improvement. Your major accountabilities will include implementing the global category strategy at the local level or implementing the sourcing business plan for your area of responsibility. You will directly deploy the global category strategy at the site level and supervise the implementation of sourcing plans for the sub-category, delivering sub-category savings targets as per the target setting process. You will also provide input into the overall Category segmentation, identify key supplier relationships, manage strategic sub-category supplier relationships, and report on supplier performance. To qualify for this role, you should have a University/Advanced degree, with a preference for a Masters Degree or other advanced degree. You should have more than 5-10 years of relevant experience in Procurement (indirects), cross-cultural experience, strategic sourcing and stakeholder management experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are necessary. Experience in the Research and Development category is preferred.
