Global Sourcing Manager R&D

Role Overview: As the individual responsible for the R&D category and leading project delivery as part of the Annual Category Plan at the company, your focus will primarily be on project delivery. This includes activities such as requirements gathering, market analysis, and qualifying and selecting suppliers in collaboration with relevant Business Partners and stakeholders. You will also be involved in handling non-sourcing projects like demand management and process improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Implement the global category strategy at the local level or execute the sourcing business plan for your area of responsibility. - Deploy the global category strategy at the site level and oversee the implementation of sourcing plans for the sub-category. - Achieve sub-category savings targets as per the target setting process. - Contribute to the overall Category segmentation and identify key supplier relationships. - Manage strategic sub-category supplier relationships and report on supplier performance. Qualifications Required: - Hold a University/Advanced degree, preferably a Masters Degree or other advanced degree. - Possess more than 5-10 years of relevant experience in Procurement (indirects) with cross-cultural experience, strategic sourcing skills, and stakeholder management experience. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English are essential. - Experience in the Research and Development category is a preferred qualification.
