Global Program Management- Operation Excellence

Role Overview: At Biocon Biologics, you will play a crucial role in shaping the cost competitiveness of biosimilars by analyzing COGS, developing strategies for cost reduction, optimizing processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Your focus will be on achieving cost savings while ensuring regulatory compliance and stakeholder satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct detailed COGS breakdowns for biosimilar products and benchmark internal COGS with industry standards - Develop and execute a multi-year COGS reduction roadmap aligned with business objectives - Collaborate with Process Development and Manufacturing teams to optimize processes and recommend cost-saving measures - Work with Procurement to negotiate better pricing for raw materials and explore alternative sourcing strategies - Identify opportunities for reducing logistics costs and optimize inventory and production planning - Collaborate with Quality, Regulatory, and Compliance teams to ensure cost-saving initiatives meet regulatory standards - Build robust cost models, perform variance analysis, and present findings to senior leadership - Act as the liaison between cross-functional teams for COGS-related initiatives Qualification Required: - Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field. MBA or specialized certifications in cost management or lean manufacturing preferred. - Experience: 8+ years of experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing, with at least 3 years focusing on biosimilars. Proven track record of leading successful COGS reduction initiatives. - Skills: Deep understanding of biosimilar development, manufacturing processes, and regulatory frameworks. Strong knowledge of bioprocessing, financial acumen, familiarity with lean and Six Sigma methodologies, and excellent communication skills.
