Global Procurement Indirect Senior Associate

As the Procurement Specialist at our company, your main responsibility will be to ensure the timely procurement of all Other Goods and Services (OGS) items, maintaining the right quality and quantity. You will play a crucial role in regulating Capex spend through effective vendor interactions, ensuring on-time deliveries, and engaging in core negotiations. Compliance with the Global Compliance Standards (GCS) is a key aspect of this role, as is contributing towards achieving the site's PTR target. Your key responsibilities will include: - Ensuring indirect procurement at PGCS Channo aligns with PGCS and Global Procurement Policies. - Sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials from local and overseas vendors. - Evaluating vendor quotations to meet technical specifications required by the user. - Managing annual rate contracts and discount agreements with suppliers. - Converting Purchase Requisitions to Purchase Orders within the allocated time. - Overseeing daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing, and tracking Purchase Orders delivery and shipment schedules. - Developing new/alternate vendors to ensure competitive rates for existing supplies. - Driving OGS savings and leading Business Continuity Planning (BCP) projects. - Managing the Vendor Master database for the site. - Initiating and finalizing contracts for packaging suppliers. - Evaluating supplier performance based on quality, delivery time, and pricing. - Ensuring compliance with Procurement program management and excellence initiatives. - Facilitating best practice transfer from other PGCS sites and India BU/plant to Channo. - Managing Price Information Records (PIR) and Service Level (SL) agreements for Directs Procurement. To be successful in this role, you should have experience in OGS and Capex procurement, familiarity with SAP and procurement processes, and a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience. A post-graduation in management would be advantageous.
