Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for providing general accounting services to clients, including activities such as cost accounting, journal entries preparation, cash flow management, general ledger processing, reconciliations, reporting, and tax support. Your role will involve ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to reporting/procedural standards in accounting records, financial statements, and reports. As a Specialist Professional (P4), you are a recognized subject matter expert in your job area, typically achieved through advanced education and work experience. Your responsibilities may include managing large projects or processes with limited oversight, coaching, reviewing, and delegating work to lower-level professionals, and addressing difficult and complex problems. Key Responsibilities: - Reconciliation Tool Management: - Ensure the reconciliation tool is up to date with Group policy and controls, and that changes requests are processed promptly. - Create and maintain reconciliation schedules, update policy reports, and monitor deadlines for compliance and efficiency. - Prepare annual Risk review for management approval. - Task Closing Tool Management: - Ensure the tool reflects the agreed Group Timetable, enact amendments in a timely manner, and monitor deadlines and performance. - Open periods as required and generate SLI 117 report. - Implementation of New Finance Applications/Maintenance of Existing Tools: - Develop test scenarios for new finance tools and manage project timetables for timely delivery. - Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and deliver user training sessions. - Investigate, develop, and deploy process improvements. - Collaboration with IS and Vendor: - Liaise with IS teams and external vendors to manage issues, updates, system changes, and project implementations. - User Support: - Provide ongoing support to users regarding system usage, change requests, troubleshooting, and issue resolution. - Maintain tool SOPs and WIS and conduct tool training as required. - Quality Assurance: - Conduct content quality checks using reports and data analysis. - Ensure data accuracy and consistency across tools and confirm quarterly access approvals. - Global General Accounting Team: - Play an active participatory role with peers and other General Accounting teams. - Develop the role to include SAP S4 support and ensure compliance with regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Qualifications Required: - Post-graduation in Finance or MBA. - 5 to 9 years of relevant experience. - Meticulous, organized, with the ability to direct tasks to successful conclusions. - Focus on details and quick resolution of actions. - Self-starter with an inquisitive nature and a positive willingness to improve processes. - Sound knowledge of Trintech & Blackline 360, ideally at admin level, and experience with SAP S4 General Accounting/Reporting modules. - Proficient in Microsoft skills, global communication, and delivering solutions. - Proficiency in spoken and written English language.,
