Role: Global Master Data Consultant SAP MDG / SAP MDM

Key Responsibilities

Data Conversion & Migration

• Prepare and execute master data conversion and migration into SAP S/4HANA
• Lead data cleansing, standardization, and harmonization activities
• Perform data value mapping, construction, and validation for SAP S/4 master data
• Coordinate cross-functional and cross-workstream data requirements
• Create and manage test data for functional and integration testing

Master Data Governance (SAP MDG)

• Design and test SAP MDG CRUD workflows
• Gather and document local functional requirements and align them with global MDG solutions
• Execute MDG process testing, defect analysis, and resolution
• Support cutover, hypercare, change management, and end-user training

Stakeholder & Project Management

• Coordinate requirements across upstream and downstream systems
• Supervise outsourced test script development and execution
• Track project tasks using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps (ADO), TargetProcess, Clarity, and Excel
• Maintain and update key documentation including Data Definitions (DD), Field Mapping Design (FMD), and Functional Design (FD)

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Master Data Management (MDM)
• Strong understanding of master and transactional data models, hierarchies, and dependencies
• Hands-on experience with SAP MDG CRUD workflow design and testing
• Experience in data quality rule design and validation
• Functional experience with SAP Fiori UI design for MDG applications
• Proven experience in data standardization, cleansing, and harmonization
• Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience working on SAP S/4HANA transformation programs
• Exposure to consumer products / FMCG domain
• Familiarity with SAP ECC to S/4HANA master data migration
• Experience with data governance tools (functional focus preferred)
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Experience working in global, multicultural environments
