Role Overview: As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for customers, ensuring precision and contributing to team success. Your responsibilities include storing and delivering delicate items like flowers and fresh ingredients to local stores, impacting day-to-day operations in warehouse and distribution centers. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the deployment and maintenance of WMS virtual machines using tools like Jenkins and GitLab. - Collaborate with development and operations teams for smooth application delivery and performance. - Monitor systems using tools such as Grafana and Oracle EM. - Participate in troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure and application issues. - Document processes and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Service Orientation with a strong commitment to supporting internal teams and improving user experience. - Technical background with exposure to Linux, Oracle, Java, Virtualization, Cloud Platforms, Git, Jira, GitLab, CI/CD Tools, Infrastructure as Code, Containerization & Orchestration, Monitoring & Logging, Operations and system administration, Monitoring and alerting best practices, Automation, Troubleshooting, and root cause analysis. - Internship or project experience in DevOps or related areas. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
