GL Accountant

Key Responsibilities: - Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for Zelis Inc."s US operations - Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for management - Reconcile accounts and ensure financial data accuracy - Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and tax return preparation - Conduct periodic bank and general ledger reconciliations - Collaborate with departments for accurate financial reporting - Identify process improvement opportunities and streamline accounting procedures - Support internal and external audits - Ensure timely closure of month-end processes Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - CPA certification or equivalent preferred - Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience - Knowledge of US GAAP and tax regulations - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP environments - Strong attention to detail and analytical skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Prior experience in a Shared Services Center preferred - Strong work ethic is required (Additional details about the company were not present in the job description),
