GET (Graduate Engineer Trainee) - Civil - Highway Project

We are urgent hiring Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) – Highway Project !

Location: Shillong, Meghalaya
Industry: Construction / Infrastructure / Highway Projects
Employment Type: Full-Time, Site-Based

Educational Qualification:

• B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized university
• Freshers or candidates with 0–2 years of experience in road/highway projects can apply

Experience:

• Freshers are welcome
• Internship or site experience in Road / Highway / Infrastructure projects will be an advantage

Key Technical Skills Required:

• Basic understanding of highway construction activities
• Knowledge of:
• Earthwork, GSB, WMM, DBM, BC
• Pavement layers and construction methodology
• MoRTH and IRC specifications (basic level)
• Ability to read drawings, BOQ, and specifications
• Basic knowledge of survey works and instruments (Auto Level / Total Station – preferred)
• Exposure to quality control and site measurements
• Basic understanding of billing and quantity calculations
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word
• AutoCAD knowledge preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist senior engineers in execution of highway construction works
• Supervise site activities related to earthwork, subgrade, sub-base, and bituminous works
• Ensure work execution as per approved drawings and technical specifications
• Assist in preparation of Daily Progress Reports (DPRs)
• Support measurement, quantity calculation, and billing
• Coordinate with survey, QA/QC, subcontractors, and site teams
• Monitor material usage and adherence to safety and quality standards
• Maintain proper site documentation and records
