German Speaking SCRUM Master / Product Owner

Responsibilities:

- Interact with client team members from German speaking countries of EU - Germany, Austria, Switzerland

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse business requirements, translating them into actionable user epics/user stories/tasks enabling incremental product development

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand their business needs and objectives

- Act as a Scrum Master, facilitating agile rituals such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives

- Manage product backlogs, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with business goals and customer needs

- Drive the delivery of high-quality products by removing impediments and fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability

- As a Product Owner, discuss and define functional requirements with German clients and coordinate with technical development team to ensure software solution is developed as per the functional requirements

- Should be able to perform functional validation of the solution in German

Skills:

- Proficient in German language - reading, writing, speaking, listening

- German language - C1/C2 level certification preferably from Goethe Institut or other reputed university is a must

- Hands-on experience as a Product Owner and Scrum Master in an agile environment

- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)

- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus

- Strong experience working with agile tools such as Jira, Zoho Sprints, Trello, or similar platforms

- Experience with collaboration and documentation tools like Confluence, Zoho Learn, or similar tools

- Good communication and interpersonal skills. Should be able to present ideas and thoughts clearly

- High sense of professionalism

- Good at multitasking

- Should be aware about cultural sensitivities

- Sense of ownership of task and follow up until closure

- Strong problem solving & analytical skills and good situational awareness

- Committed team player

- Clarity of thoughts and Good communication skills (verbal and written)
