Core Responsibilties Skills Required 22 • Develop and Maintain Azure/AWS /GCP Cloud Database Services in accordance with Security and Standards.
• Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle and SQL Server databases. • Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies and Perform regular backups and recovery operations. • Manage database security, user access, and roles. • Implement and maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions. • Understands and experienced Immutable Infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform and cloud native services • Collaborates with architecture and third party teams to drive automation, security, and performance across on-premises and cloud platforms. • Hands on experience with Windows and Linux and Administration • Infrastructure provisioning, configuration and application deployment is completely automated. • IaC Infrastructure as Code. Automation scripts are treated as code; source controlled and versioned. • Be able to troubleshoot Database issues on Cloud and On-premises • Write operational procedures • Work closely with Application/Product owners • Remediate any availability, regulatory or performance-related operational deficiencies. • Notify Client of changes to and adoptions of new cloud DB technology. Extensive experience as a DBA with Oracle and SQL Server.
Hands on experience Managing Database on DataCenter and Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Strong knowledge of Oracle 12c/19c and SQL Server 2016/2019.
Experience with RMAN, Data Guard, Always On Availability Groups, and replication.
Proficiency in PL/SQL, T-SQL, and performance tuning techniques.
Knowledge of security controls for the Public cloud (encryption of data in motion/rest and key management)
Linux and Windows OS Administration
Experience with Open Source Cloud and configuration management tools (Terraform Ansible, etc.)
Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management.
