Role Description

This is a contract role for a Genetic Counselor with Vyas Cancer Research Pvt. Ltd. The Genetic Counselor will be responsible for interpreting genetic test results, providing counseling to patients and their families about hereditary cancer risks, and assisting them in decision making. Additional tasks include coordinating genetic testing, reviewing patient medical histories, and collaborating with healthcare professionals. This is a hybrid role, implying that the role is located in Vishakhapatnam but some work from home is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Genetic Testing and Genetic Counseling
• Strong background in Medicine and Laboratory Skills
• Experience with Research related to genetics and hereditary cancer
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Master's degree in Genetic Counseling or a related field
• Certification by a recognized genetic counseling board is a plus
