Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Genetic Counselor located in Kochi. The Genetic Counselor will provide genetic counseling and support to patients, interpret genetic test results, discuss health risks, and provide emotional support. The counselor will collaborate with healthcare providers to inform patients about their genetic health. The role also involves researching the latest developments in genetics and maintaining detailed patient records. Qualifications Skills in Genetic Testing, Genetic Counseling, and Medicine Laboratory Skills and Research experience Familiarity with current developments in genetics and genomics Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a healthcare team Master's degree in Human Genetics or related field Certification by a relevant genetic counseling board is a plus
