Job Description

Role Overview: As a General Sales & Marketing Professional, you will play a crucial role in preparing technical and commercial offers based on customer specifications, Local Business Unit/feeder factory indications, and Sales organization directives. You will be responsible for participating in kickoff meetings, defining costs for proposed solutions, ensuring completion of Project Risk Review documentation, and coordinating with internal functions for legal and contractual analysis. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare/support preparation of technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements - Participate in kickoff meetings organized by the project team - Define costs for proposed solutions and communicate to sales organization - Ensure completion of Project Risk Review documentation in accordance with company policies - Coordinate with internal functions for legal, contractual analysis, risks, and costs associated with projects - Analyze and evaluate specific technical issues and associated risks - Analyze customer needs and competitor offers through general market information - Perform lost proposal analysis, identify potential causes, and recommend future actions - Prepare technical and financial aspects of offers, indicating prices and trading conditions - Define suitable technology and product types based on application characteristics - Negotiate consortium/subcontract agreements and work allocation with bid partners - Collect relevant documentation for proposals and record decisions made during development - Manage technical inspections for proposal preparation - Provide technical support to sales managers during customer meetings - Participate in negotiations with customers on technical, contractual, and commercial content - Coordinate with internal functions for legal, contractual analysis, risks, and costs related to projects Qualifications Required: - Degree qualifications in Engineering (electrical) or recognized equivalent - Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales and Marketing - Minimum 2 years of experience as a Tendering Engineer - Knowledge of AIS substation equipment: Instrument Transformers/ Live Tank Breakers / Disconnectors & Earthing Switches - Prior experience in Utilities tendering process - Deep knowledge and understanding of the electrical engineering industry - Estimating and tendering experience (MS Excel based system) - Computer literacy and competent in using SFDC (preferable), MS Word, MS Excel - Good communication skills and assertive business acumen - Time management, coordination, accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to perform in a pressure environment - Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required (Note: No additional details of the company were provided in the job description),
