Job Description

As a General Reporting professional based in Chennai, your role will involve various financial activities such as monthly book closure, preparation and posting of journal entries, financial reporting, and reconciliations. Additionally, you will be responsible for inventory accounting, mark-to-market accounting, and month-end processing tasks including trial balance, PNL, and balance sheet review. You will also handle management reporting, inter-company reconciliations, account reconciliations, and budgeting and forecasting. - Commerce Graduate with 3 to 6 years of experience in Finance and Accounts within the FMCG or Manufacturing sector. - Experience in setting up Validation Checklists for processes and ensuring continuous review for accuracy. - Expertise in reviewing and authorizing journal entries, preparing plant costing reports, Inventory Reporting, COML run, MUV/PPV absorption costing, and standard costing. A strong understanding of fixed assets accounting, General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and experience with SAP or Oracle systems is essential. Proficiency in SAP BPC/BO/BI tools would be advantageous. You should be open to working in different time zones and traveling on short informed trips as per business requirements.
