Job Description

In this role based in Chennai, you will be responsible for various financial activities including monthly book closure, journal entries preparation and posting, financial reporting, reconciliations, inventory accounting, mark-to-market accounting, and month-end processing tasks such as trial balance, PNL, and balance sheet review. Your role will also involve management reporting, inter-company reconciliations, account reconciliations, and budgeting and forecasting. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and post journal entries - Review and authorize journal entries - Handle inventory accounting and mark-to-market accounting - Perform month-end processing tasks including trial balance, PNL, and balance sheet review - Manage management reporting, inter-company reconciliations, account reconciliations, and budgeting and forecasting - Prepare plant costing reports, Inventory Reporting, COML run, MUV/PPV absorption costing, and standard costing Qualifications Required: - Commerce Graduate - 3 to 6 years of experience in Finance and Accounts within the FMCG or Manufacturing sector - Experience in setting up Validation Checklists for processes - Strong understanding of fixed assets accounting and General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) - Experience with SAP or Oracle systems - Proficiency in SAP BPC/BO/BI tools would be advantageous If you are seeking to utilize your financial skills and contribute to a dynamic environment, this role presents an excellent opportunity for growth and development.,
