Job Description

As the General Manager - Operations at this company, your role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations across multiple offices in Tamil Nadu (Chennai & Coimbatore), Kerala (Kochi), Hyderabad, and Kolkata. You will be supporting the City Leads and their onsite FM teams to maintain consistency, responsiveness to client requests, regional transparency of reporting, and quality control. Your responsibilities include managing SMEs as indirect reports, reporting on service delivery, implementing sourcing and cost-saving strategies, managing client relationships, and collaborating with various functional teams within the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Take charge of overall KPI reporting including Financial and EHS inputs, and personally gather inputs for CSAT element to manage CBRE follow up - Conduct KPI checks and support safety audit/inspection by local FM teams - Meet clients regularly to discuss quality, document feedback, and oversee issue rectification - Prepare and attend client-facing reports such as MMR, QBR, etc. - Develop operational service delivery solutions, monitor maintenance effectiveness, and ensure compliance with account KPIs - Evaluate outsourced service providers, coordinate RFP processes, and implement cost-saving strategies - Ensure appropriate staffing levels, onboarding new staff, and provide training and development opportunities - Act as a facilitator for onsite teams, oversee operational activities, and lead indirect reports to fulfill required outputs Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree and/or Technical degree with a minimum of ten years of related experience - Prior Supervisory Management experience is essential - Experience in Operations, Sourcing/Cost Savings, leading teams in multiple geographies, and effective communication skills - Ability to analyze complex business documents, write reports, make persuasive presentations, and negotiate effectively - In-depth financial knowledge, analytical skills, and ability to develop strategic solutions - Strong reasoning ability to solve advanced problems and make impactful recommendations This company values compliance, safety, and high performance.
