About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary General Manager to lead the overall operations, partnerships, and strategic growth of our organization. The role demands a dynamic professional with a strong foothold in the CSR ecosystem, capable of driving fundraising initiatives, managing large-scale development projects, and ensuring smooth organizational functioning in alignment with our mission and values.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Organizational Management

  • • Oversee the overall administration, operations, and program management of the organization.
  • • Develop strategic plans, policies, and systems to ensure operational efficiency and long-term sustainability.
  • • Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to achieve project and organizational objectives.
  • • Represent the organization in forums, board meetings, and public events.

CSR Fundraising & Partnership Development

  • • Build and maintain high-level relationships with CSR heads, corporates, PSUs, and funding agencies.
  • • Identify and secure new CSR partnerships aligned with the organizations focus areas.
  • • Develop compelling proposals, MoUs, and project pitches for corporate donors.
  • • Ensure strong visibility and brand positioning of the NGO within the CSR ecosystem.

Program Oversight & Impact Management

  • • Guide planning, implementation, and monitoring of CSR and community development projects.
  • • Ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and compliance norms.
  • • Evaluate project outcomes, measure impact, and prepare reports for donors and stakeholders.

Governance, Compliance & Financial Stewardship

  • • Ensure adherence to statutory requirements, CSR rules, and internal governance protocols.
  • • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, audits, and effective utilization of funds.
  • • Coordinate with the Board of Trustees for policy decisions and strategic reviews.

Qualifications & Skills

  • • Masters degree in Social Work, Management, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • • 10+ years of experience in leadership roles within NGOs, CSR, or development sectors.
  • • Proven track record in CSR fundraising, donor relations, and strategic partnerships.
  • • Strong organizational, operational, and team management abilities.
  • • Excellent communication, presentation, and networking skills.
  • • Deep understanding of CSR laws, compliance frameworks, and impact assessment.
