Job Description

You will be joining Scimplify, a specialty chemicals manufacturing company with a global presence. Based in Bengaluru, India, Scimplify offers a comprehensive solution from research and development to large-scale manufacturing and delivery. With a focus on various industries including pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, industrial chemicals, personal care, and fragrances, Scimplify has enabled over 500 businesses in 20+ countries to innovate and scale their chemical products. Backed by investments from renowned investors like Accel and Bertelsmann, Scimplify is a team of 250+ professionals spread across different countries. As a senior commercial leader, your primary responsibility will be to drive Scimplify's expansion into Europe. This role requires a strategic and entrepreneurial mindset to not only boost sales but also establish new markets, cultivate lasting partnerships, develop operational frameworks, and propel Scimplify's global growth strategy. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and execute strategic sales and export plans tailored for the European market across key chemical verticals. - Lead initiatives for business development and client acquisition to solidify Scimplify's presence in the region. - Establish and expand partnerships with distributors and key clients, ensuring sustained and long-term business relationships. - Drive revenue growth through market penetration, upselling strategies, and structured account management. - Implement operational and compliance frameworks that adhere to international trade and regulatory standards. - Stay abreast of industry trends, innovations, and competitive dynamics within the chemical sector to uphold market leadership. **Qualifications:** - Possess 10+ years of demonstrated experience in international sales, business development, or leadership roles specifically within the chemical industry. - Strong understanding of the European market, customer applications, and regulatory frameworks. - Proven track record of consistently achieving and surpassing revenue and market expansion targets. - Deep knowledge of chemical applications within pharmaceutical, agrochemical, industrial, or personal/home care verticals. - Exceptional skills in leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building. - Ideally, have an established network of distributors and clients in Europe. - Exhibit an entrepreneurial mindset with the capability to establish and scale new business units in fast-paced environments. - Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Business Administration; an MBA is preferred.,
