General Ledger Manager

As a Manager in General Ledger Accounting, your role involves overseeing financial accounting tasks, such as the periodic finalization of books of accounts and reporting in compliance with IND AS for statutory books and IFRS for group reporting. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the timely and accurate completion of monthly, quarterly, and year-end close requirements. You will collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate successful audits. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor and review monthly balance sheet account reconciliations - Conduct P&L analysis and provide value-added inputs to business stakeholders - Drive improvement projects to optimize operational efficiencies and ensure tax compliance - Provide financial data for Direct and Indirect Tax Assessments Qualifications Required: - Advanced knowledge of General Ledger accounting under IND AS and IFRS - Basic knowledge of Direct and Indirect Taxation - Proficiency in SAP and Excel for independent handling of monthly closures, statutory, and tax audits Your success in this position will depend on your result-focused approach, customer orientation, effective communication skills, and ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
