Role Objective

The GeM Portal Specialist will handle end-to-end execution of GeM portal activities, including registration, seller onboarding, product catalogue creation, and issue resolution, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities1. GeM Registration & Seller Onboarding

• Assist clients with new GeM seller registration
• Verify and upload required documents (PAN, Aadhaar, GST, bank details, MSME, etc.)
• Complete profile setup and validation on the GeM portal
• Coordinate with clients for OTPs, approvals, and clarifications

2. Product Catalogue Uploading

• Upload products/services on GeM as per category guidelines
• Ensure:
• Correct product specifications
• Accurate HSN/SAC codes
• Compliant images and descriptions
• Price structure as per GeM norms
• Handle brand approval and OEM authorisation processes

3. Portal Management & Issue Resolution

• Handle GeM portal queries, rejections, and technical issues
• Track application status and resolve objections raised by GeM
• Coordinate with GeM helpdesk when required

4. Compliance & Quality Control

• Ensure all uploads comply with latest GeM guidelines
• Maintain proper documentation and records
• Follow internal SOPs and checklists to avoid rejections

5. Internal & Client Coordination

• Coordinate with sales and support teams for service updates
• Provide basic status updates to clients
• Escalate complex issues to seniors or management

Eligibility Criteria

• Graduate (any stream; Commerce preferred)
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience with GeM portal
• Proven experience in:
• GeM registration
• Product catalogue uploading
• Brand / OEM approvals
• Experience with consultancy or GeM service providers preferred

Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of GeM portal workflows
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle high-volume work
• Good coordination and follow-up skills
• Basic client communication skills

Compensation

• ₹18,000 – ₹30,000 per month (based on experience)
