Job Title: Senior NLP Engineer Experience: 3+ years About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled Senior NLP Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning (ML), and Deep Learning, with hands-on experience in designing and deploying large-scale NLP solutions. You will lead the development of intelligent text and speech-based applications, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge AI-driven products. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize NLP models for tasks such as text classification, sentiment analysis, information retrieval, and conversational AI. Implement deep learning architectures (RNNs, LSTMs, Transformers, BERT, GPT, etc.) for NLP applications. Work with large datasets to preprocess, clean, and structure data for model training and evaluation. Deploy NLP solutions into production using MLOps best practices (CI/CD, model monitoring, retraining). Conduct research on state-of-the-art NLP techniques and integrate them into products. Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to define project requirements and deliverables. Mentor and guide junior NLP engineers and researchers. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related field (PhD preferred). 4+ years of experience in Machine Learning/NLP, with at least 3 years in applied NLP projects. Strong proficiency in Python and NLP libraries/frameworks such as NLTK, SpaCy, Hugging Face Transformers, TensorFlow, PyTorch . Hands-on experience with LLMs (BERT, GPT, LLaMA, etc.) and fine-tuning for domain-specific applications. Familiarity with information retrieval, knowledge graphs, embeddings, and semantic search . Experience with cloud platforms ( AWS, GCP, Azure ) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Nice-to-Have Experience with speech recognition (ASR) or multimodal NLP . Contributions to open-source NLP projects or published research papers. Exposure to MLOps tools like MLflow, Kubeflow, or Vertex AI.
