About The Opportunity

A fast-growing player in the Data & Analytics consulting sector, we build cloud-native data platforms and real-time reporting solutions for enterprises in retail, BFSI, and healthcare. Leveraging Google Cloud’s advanced analytics stack, we turn high-volume data into actionable insights that accelerate digital transformation and revenue growth.

Role & Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize BigQuery data warehouses for petabyte-scale analytics.
Build ingestion pipelines using Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage to ensure reliable, low-latency data availability.
Implement ELT/ETL workflows in Python and SQL, applying best practices for partitioning, clustering, and cost control.
Create and orchestrate DAGs in Cloud Composer/Airflow to automate data processing and quality checks.
Collaborate with analysts and business stakeholders to model datasets, define SLAs, and deliver high-impact dashboards.
Harden production environments with CI/CD, Terraform, monitoring, and automated testing for zero-defect releases.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

3+ years building data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform.
Expert hands-on experience with BigQuery optimisation and SQL performance tuning.
Proficiency in Python scripting for data engineering tasks.
Deep understanding of Dataflow or Apache Beam streaming and batch paradigms.
Solid grasp of data warehousing principles, partitioning, and metadata management.
Version control, containerisation, and CI/CD exposure (Git, Docker, Cloud Build).

Preferred

Terraform/IaC for infrastructure provisioning.
Experience migrating on-prem warehouses (Teradata, Netezza) to BigQuery.
Knowledge of data governance, DLP, and security best practices in GCP.
