Garnishment Administrator II

Role Overview: As a Garnishment Specialist at UKG, you will play a crucial role in recognizing and categorizing orders for various garnishment types such as Child Support, Releases, Tax Levys, Student Loans, Bankruptcies, and more. You will be responsible for providing accurate and timely written responses to garnishment and court notices, examining and reconciling garnishments, and responding to internal queries regarding garnishment deductions. Additionally, you will follow established processes to ensure compliance in each mailing, escalate non-routine inquiries to higher authorities, and stay updated on federal and state guidelines related to garnishments. Your flexibility in adapting to process improvements and your proactive approach in suggesting enhancements will be key in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Recognize and categorize orders for all garnishment types - Provide accurate and timely written responses to garnishment and court notices - Examine and reconcile garnishments effectively - Respond to internal queries regarding garnishment deductions - Ensure compliance in each required mailing - Escalate non-routine inquiries to higher authorities - Stay updated on federal and state guidelines for handling garnishment orders - Assist with garnishment set-up for new client implementations - Adapt to process improvements and suggest enhancements - Attend and actively participate in scheduled meetings within the team - Assist with related special projects as required Qualification Required: - 2-4 years of Garnishment experience - Knowledge of interpreting, entering, and answering withholding orders - Familiarity with multi-state garnishment laws - Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications - Ability to manage assigned work independently and meet deadlines - Strong analytical skills in a high transaction volume environment - Versatility, flexibility, and enthusiasm in handling changing priorities - Demonstrated ability to calculate figures and amounts accurately - Graduate/Post Graduate with 2-4 years of related experience or equivalent combination - Working knowledge of UltiPro and FPC or CPP certification is a plus Additional Company Details: UKG is the largest U.S.-based private software company with a mission to inspire every organization to become a great place to work through award-winning HR technology.
