You will be responsible for sourcing, fabric selection, and basic quality testing. Your analytical skills will be key in interpreting sales, costing, and production data. Excellent communication, negotiation, and vendor-management skills are essential for this role. Being detail-oriented with a creative approach to product development and visual presentation is important. Proficiency in MS Excel is required, and experience in fashion, apparel, textiles, or garment merchandising is preferred. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and execute product assortments, seasonal ranges, and visual merchandising strategies. - Work closely with buyers, designers, and suppliers to select fabrics and trims based on product requirements. - May require travel to mills, factories, and retail stores for sampling, production checks, and audits. Qualifications Required: - 1 year of experience in the textile industry is preferred. - Willingness to travel up to 75% is preferred.
