Furniture Store Manager

As a Furniture Store Manager at our retail furniture store in Kumbakonam, you will play a crucial role in leading a sales team, ensuring exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, managing inventory, and maintaining a professional shopping environment. Your responsibilities will include achieving sales targets, training staff, resolving customer issues, overseeing store operations, and implementing marketing strategies. You will be expected to lead the sales team to meet or exceed sales goals, coach staff on product knowledge and customer service, and monitor performance metrics to enhance team efficiency. Ensuring exceptional customer service throughout the shopping experience will be a key focus, including addressing customer concerns promptly and professionally. In terms of operations, you will be responsible for managing daily store operations, maintaining store cleanliness and organization, and controlling stock levels and inventory. Additionally, you will recruit, hire, train, and supervise store staff, conduct performance reviews, and collaborate with marketing teams to execute promotions and campaigns. To excel in this role, you should have proven experience as a store manager in furniture or retail sales, strong leadership skills, effective communication abilities, and good decision-making skills. Familiarity with retail management software and POS systems is preferred, along with the flexibility to work weekends and holidays. A high school diploma is required, while an Associate or Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is advantageous.
