Based in Tanawra, Jodhpur, our 1,12,000 sq. ft. factory is committed to excellence through a meticulous production process that includes R&D, testing, and prototyping. With a skilled workforce of 500 and a team of 15 professionals, we deliver up to thirty containers per month without compromising on quality. We focus on blending natural and artificial materials, such as marble, metal, and leather, to create unique and timeless furniture designs. Bluecity Designs is expanding its product development team, and we are looking for a creative and technically strong Furniture Designer to join us.

🔎 Role Overview

The Furniture Designer will be responsible for developing new product lines, improving existing designs, and collaborating with production to ensure feasibility and finish quality.

📌 Key Responsibilities

Concept development for new furniture collections (residential & custom)

Creating detailed 2D/3D drawings (AutoCAD/SketchUp/3D software)

Material selection, hardware compatibility & joinery detailing

Preparing prototype drawings and coordinating with factory teams

Ensuring ergonomics, durability & production feasibility

Rendering and presentation boards for client approvals

Maintaining design documentation and BOMs

✅ Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Furniture / Interior / Product Design

1–3 years of relevant experience (freshers with strong portfolio can apply)

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Key shot/3D rendering tools

Strong understanding of wood, veneers, metal & upholstery

Ability to translate ideas into production-ready drawings

Creativity + attention to detail + practical mindset
