About You: Degree qualified in Accounting or Finance related area and/or studying for a professional accounting qualification 4-8 years of experience in Financial Services with high volume operational environment and/ or hedge fund industry Excellent analytical, problem solving skills with high degree of attention to detail Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) Our Benefits Your wellbeing is of paramount importance to us, and central to our success. Your Role: Performing the administration / shadow accounting / book keeping of and any services pursuant to administration agreements in respect of a portfolio of institutional clients Calculating Net Asset Value for portfolios, which includes Cash and position reconciliations, Income, and Expense Accruals, Partner/Shareholder Allocation,prepare and review trial balances. Maintaining books and records; including General ledger and various sub-ledgers. Cash and Portfolio Reconciliations. Income and Expense Accruals. Capital Activity processing (calls / distributions / transfers). Calculation of Admin Fee, management Fee, Incentive Fee. Prepare and review trial balances. You will manage and monitor the timing and quality of client deliverables (SLAs). Maintain a current and thorough understanding of applicable best practice policies and client specific agreements. Identifying and escalating any material issues effecting service delivery to the Supervisor; Demonstrate ownership of assigned work and ensure timely completion, in line with demanding client service agreements Support training of new fund accountants and on-boarding of new clients and/or funds.
