Fund Accounting Specialist

As a Fund Accounting Specialist at our company, your role involves assisting in various fund valuation activities in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team. Your main responsibility will be to help in calculating daily and periodic Net Asset Valuations (NAVs) for funds and distributing associated unit prices. **Key Responsibilities:** - Complete activities related to accurate and timely delivery of valuations for defined clients - Review stock and cash reconciliations to ensure exceptions noted have no NAV impact and cleared items are treated - Analyze causes and suggest enhancements for recurring exceptions through reconciliation reviews and NAV analysis - Assist in ensuring corporate actions are correctly reflected on the NAV - Collect and analyze relevant management information from an operational and client perspective - Aid in developing team processes, procedures, and a positive working environment - Promptly investigate and resolve client queries, ensuring SLAs and deadlines are met - Assess risk appropriately when making business decisions, with particular consideration for the firm's reputation and compliance with laws, rules, and regulations **Qualifications:** - 2-4 years of relevant experience - Experience within financial services - Knowledge of financial market operations, accounting, and basics of financial management - Demonstrated knowledge of accounting - Basic knowledge of organization and policies - Studying for ACCA, ACA, or CIMA at an advanced level - Consistent demonstration of clear and concise written and verbal communication skills At our company, we value diversity and inclusion.
