Fund Accountant - Private Equity

As a PE Fund Accountant at Wipro Pune, your role involves various responsibilities related to fund accounting, investor reporting, group reporting, administrator oversight, systems, process management, and projects. Here is a detailed breakdown of your primary responsibilities: - Fund Accounting and Investor Reporting: - Support oversight of monthly/quarterly financial, investor, and regulatory reporting. - Assist in the annual financial statement review and manage the audit process. - Interact with Fund Administrators to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial and investor reporting. - Support designated Fund cash and liquidity management, including bridge facilities, treasury positions, and counterparty exposure. - Review monthly bank reconciliations. - Review invoices in adherence with organization-wide and Fund-specific policies. - Support capital activities with shadow calculations and first review of related information. - Monitor compliance of the Fund LPA and side letter agreements. - Review performance fee calculations. - Formulate responses to investor queries and internal Investor Relations Team. - Review and understand investment valuations and other valuation information for financial reporting. - Manage fund structures and governing documents for tax planning. - Provide backup and cover to other functional support areas within Operations when needed. - Group Reporting: - Review/Shadowing of Management Fees and subsequent reporting to Group Finance. - Support reporting of AUM/FUM information to Group Finance. - Gather ad hoc data requests from PLC Group Finance. - Administrator Oversight, Systems, and Process Management: - Assist with Fund Administrator assessments and feedback. - Work with Client Operations to ensure deals are correctly recorded in in-house systems. - Maintain data integrity and ensure process documentation and control. - Projects: - Opportunity to assist in ad-hoc projects for continuous improvement in the Fund Accounting operating model. Desirable Qualifications: - Technical knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and/or Lux GAAP. - Understanding of financial instruments across the capital structure. - Understanding of carry structures and waterfalls. - Experience in complex private equity fund fee calculations and reporting matters.,
