As a Functional Tester, you will ensure that the software developed (backend in .NET / Azure, frontend in Angular) meets business requirements and maintains high quality. You will collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to validate features, workflows, and integrations, providing feedback and ensuring issue resolution before releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and execute functional test cases and test scenarios, based on requirements and user stories.
• Validate business logic, workflows, UI behavior, and integration points (between frontend – Angular and backend – API / microservices).
• Conduct regression testing to ensure changes do not break existing features.
• Log, categorize, and track defects in issue tracking tools (e.g. Jira, Azure DevOps).
• Work with developers to reproduce, debug, and verify fixes.
• Participate in requirement review sessions, sprint planning, and other agile ceremonies to propose testable acceptance criteria.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, standards, and automation where possible.

Requirements

• Strong experience in functional testing, ideally in enterprise / large-scale international projects.
• Comfortable working on systems built with .NET / Azure backend and Angular frontend.
• Hands-on experience with test management, defect tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps).
• Ability to write clear, concise test documentation and defect reports.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, ability to understand business flows.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Preference will be given to consultants with experience in large-scale international projects, particularly with European management and delivery models
