Business Central Functional Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in

  Business Central implementation projects

  , particularly within manufacturing modules.
• Conduct

  requirement gathering, gap-fit analysis, and business process mapping

  with stakeholders.
• Configure, customize, and deploy

  Business Central Manufacturing

  features including:
• Production Orders
  
• MRP/MPS
  
• BOM & Routing
  
• Capacity Planning
  
• Shop Floor Management
  
• Inventory & Warehouse Management
  
• Prepare functional specifications for customizations and coordinate with technical teams.
  
• Support

  data migration

  , user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live activities.
• Provide

  end-user training

  , documentation, and post-implementation support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with finance, supply chain, and other modules.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues in existing Business Central environments.
  
• Stay updated with latest Business Central releases, best practices, and manufacturing industry trends.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience as a

  Dynamics 365 Business Central / NAV Functional Consultant

  .
• Strong hands-on experience with

  manufacturing modules

  in Business Central.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing industry processes (discrete/process manufacturing, planning, production, etc.).
  
• Experience with end-to-end implementation cycles, preferably multiple full-cycle projects.
  
• Ability to create detailed documentation, functional specs, and training materials.
  
• Strong communication, client-handling, and problem-solving skills.
  
• Certification in

  Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

  (preferred).

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with

  Power BI

  ,

  Power Platform

  , or integration tools.
• Knowledge of

  Dynamics NAV

  legacy versions.
• Exposure to agile project methodologies.
