About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic Functional Analyst to join our pre-sales team and support business growth

through effective requirement gathering, solution scoping, and proposal writing. You will act as a bridge

between the client and technical teams, helping articulate clear, functional, and viable solutions during

the pre-sales phase.

Key Responsibilities

 Interact with potential clients to understand their software needs and challenges.

 Gather and document functional and basic technical requirements through calls, meetings, and

RFPs/RFIs.

 Collaborate with sales, delivery, and technical teams to shape solution approaches.

 Draft clear and compelling business proposals, presentations, and technical write-ups.

 Assist in defining scope, timelines, and preliminary project plans for proposals.

 Maintain a repository of reusable proposal content and case studies.

 Support the sales team with functional insights during client discussions and demos.

Required Skills & Experience

 3+ years in a business analyst, functional consultant, or pre-sales role in a tech or software

services environment.

 Strong understanding of business processes and ability to translate them into solution

requirements.

 Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience in proposal writing is a must.

 Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate them in simple business terms.

 Hands on experience (intermediate level) with tools like MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel
