Fullstack Developer

Role Overview: As a Fullstack Developer at Berkowits, you will be responsible for stabilizing the current systems while leading the move to a scalable, future-ready stack. You will work alongside React, Flutter, and backend developers, reporting directly to the leadership. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain and enhance existing PHP-based systems and Prestashop e-commerce modules. - Collaborate with frontend developers to implement and evolve our React/Next.js applications. - Design and develop Node.js microservices and REST APIs for core business modules (Authentication, CRM, Customer Profiles, etc.). - Integrate and expose Prestashop APIs to decouple frontend and backend workflows. - Participate in server operations and deployments (Linux environments, staging setups, backups). - Follow best practices in code quality, documentation, and Git version control workflows. Qualifications Required: - Strong grasp of PHP (Core or Laravel) for backend programming, debugging, and legacy code maintenance. - Comfortable with Prestashop customization or quick learner willing to adapt. - Proficiency in React/Next.js for building dynamic interfaces, routing, and API integrations. - Experience in Node.js with Express or NestJS for RESTful API development. - Deep understanding of MySQL queries, joins, and performance tuning. - Familiarity with Git branching strategies, pull requests, and basic CI/CD workflows. - Basic server management skills in Linux Hosting (VPS/GoDaddy) via SSH, file handling, and cron jobs.
